Teachers, Coaches, Trainers and Officials

“The success of Survive and Save provides other clubs with a best practice template to achieve diversity within their own membership. Adams-King believes if more clubs adopt a similar approach it will help increase the diversity of competitive swimming as a whole. As the governing body for swimming the ASA is committed to achieving equality and Survive and Save Club is a fantastic example of a club integrating into its local community and attracting people from different faiths and ethnic communities.” - Anne Adams-King, ASA Director of English Programmes.

We currently have a dedicated team of over 40 people supporting the club’s activities which include 20 teachers (covering lifesaving & swimming) and trainer/assessors. Many of our team are youth members of the club. A significant majority of the team and its club members represent the diverse ethnic minority community. The Club is constantly striving to develop our team through our extensive training and development programme.
